A small British F3 team recently gave itself a massive PR boost by announcing it was to enter the 2010 F1 World Championship. Litespeed is run by two former Lotus engineers, Nino Singh Judge and Steve Kenchington. Over the past year or so, they have been developing the SLC F3 chassis, with Victor Correa at the wheel in the National class variant of the machine, but former West-Tec driver Jay Bridger has brought his Mygale to the party and he will be part of the Litespeed team from the next round on.
